Environmental fees are set by members of the section management, typically for one year at a time. Specific price lists are available to members of Batteriretur, usually on 1 October in the year prior to their entry into force.
Selection Procedure for Waste Management Operators
Batteriretur selects waste-management operators through a tender process with prior prequalification.
Operators are evaluated based on four criteria:

Method selection, experience, and competencies

Environmental and occupational health conditions

High actual recycling rates

Robustness, financial security, and price
Tenders for operator agreements are typically carried out every 3–4 years. A tender is usually sent to a larger number of providers, who are assessed on compliance, security of supply, financial standing, etc
